Nano to go is offering companies practical guidance on the safe handling of nanomaterials in the workplace.

The programme was developed within the EU FP7 project NanoValid by the German Federal Institute for Occupational health (BAuA).

Within the literature tasks that a scientist may be carrying out, at a university or in business, are specified and they can see, at-a-glance an activity-based risk assessment based on the processes and materials they will be using.

The programme consists of a brochure, field studies, presentations and general documents to comprehensively support risk assessment and risk management. See the flyer for details.

It is hoped that these materials will make identifying nanomaterial risk quicker and simpler.
